  They never did confirm the date but celebrations for the endlessly discussed Aiia Bhatt Ranbir Kapoor wedding appeared to have kicked off on Wednesday with friends and family, including father of the bride Mahesh Bhatt and mother of the groom Neetu Kapoor, seen driving into the couple's apartment complex. Musician Jon Batiste leads Grammy Award nominations with 11

  Jon Batiste might be the Grammys biggest surprise: The multi-genre performer and recent Oscar winner made such an impression on voters that he scored the most nominations with 11 on Tuesday. Batiste earned an album of the year nod for We Are along with record of the year with Freedom, a feel-good ode to the city of New Orleans. Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and HER each came away with the second-most nominations with eight by the time the Recording Academy was done announcing its nominees for its January 31 show. Scarlett Johansson, Disney settle lawsuit over superhero film 'Black Widow'

  Scarlett Johansson and Walt Disney Co. settled a lawsuit over the actress’s pay in the Marvel superhero film “ Black Widow ,” a case that highlighted growing tension over the role of streaming big budget films. Terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed, but both sides issued statements suggesting no lingering animosity, despite Disney’s initially aggressive response to the actress’s lawsuit.  “I am happy to have resolved our differences,” Johansson, 36, said in her statement Thursday. “I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve done together over the years and have greatly enjoyed my creative relationship with the team. Amazon issues rare apology after complaints that series hurt Hindu beliefs

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Amazon.com Inc's Prime Video streaming service on Tuesday issued a rare apology to its Indian viewers for some scenes in its original political drama series "Tandav", which allegedly offended Hindu religious beliefs. "Tandav", a Hindi word meaning "fury", stars top Bollywood actors. In several states it has faced police complaints and court cases alleging the show had depicted Hindu gods and goddesses in a derogatory manner, and offended religious beliefs. Lawmakers from India's ruling nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party have also criticised it. Hrithik Roshan's statement to be recorded tomorrow in case against Kangana

  Bollywood megastar Hrithik Roshan has been summoned to appear before the Mumbai crime branch at 11 am on Saturday to record his statement in a case he registered against actor Kangana Ranaut in 2016 involving an exchange of emails between the two. In 2016, Roshan had filed a complaint alleging that someone impersonating him was emailing Ranaut from a bogus email id. Kangana had then claimed that the email id was provided to her by Roshan and they had been communicating through the same email id till 2014. The emails were allegedly sent in 2013 and 2014.
