Kejriwal announces Sonu Sood as brand ambassador for 'Desh ke Mentors'

  Air taxis that will traverse the airspace instead of roads will be very much possible in the coming days under the drone rules announced on Thursday, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said. " Air taxis are being researched and invented globally and many startups are coming up," the minister said during a press conference here. "That time is not far when taxis, like the ones of Uber etc that you see on roads, you will see in the air under the drone policy. I believe this is very much possible," he added. Xiaomi launches Mi TV 5X series in India, sale starts from September 7

The Mi TV 5X will be available in 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch screen sizes priced at Rs 31,999, Rs 41,999 and Rs 47,999, respectively. The Galaxy Watch4 is likely to start retailing between Rs 28,000 and Rs 30,000, while the Classic variant could end up above Rs 40,000 in India. Now the company will launch the Wi-Fi version in India soon. As per GSM Arena, this revelation comes from Amazon India, which set up a promo page for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE's Wi-Fi model on its website. The online retailer didn't reveal the tablet's price or sale date and only said that it's "coming soon." Netflix rolls out Spatial Audio support through app update for iPhone, iPad

  Video streaming giant Netflix has confirmed that it is now rolling out Spatial Audio support to its iPhone and iPad applications. According to 9To5Mac, this enables an immersive experience using directional audio filters, and it has been a long time coming to Netflix users. A Netflix spokesperson has confirmed to the tech website that the company has started rolling out Spatial Audio support on iPhone and iPad on iOS 14. The toggle for managing Spatial Audio is located in the Control Centre. The spatial audio feature is exclusive to AirPods Pro and AirPods Max, the report said. Introduced in June 2020, Spatial Audio is Apple's take on 3D audio for headphones.   Chinese mobile phone maker Oppo on Tuesday said it has filed over 125 patents from its Camera Lab, established recently in India. Tasleem Arif, vice president, India research and development head, Oppo, said the company is determined to push artificial intelligence capabilities to bring high-end videography innovation to the users. "The newly launched camera lab is designed to develop localised features, camera solutions using AI and focus on developing imaging software for a better user experience. To strengthen our focus on Camera technology, our India team have already filed over 125 patents in this domain and out of these more than 50 per cent are into AI in Camera," Arif said.   Google has released the fourth beta of its upcoming Android 12 operating system that offers several new consumer-focused capabilities for the developers including Game Mode, AppSearch, new notification style for phone calls and others. The Game Mode allows developers to optimise gameplay by prioritizing characteristics, such as performance or battery life based on users settings or game specific configurations.   Omnichannel eyewear brand Lenskart on Wednesday said it plans to expand its workforce and add over 2,000 employees across the country by March 2022. In addition, Lenskart will also expand its international teams in Singapore, West Asia, and the US by adding 300 more employees. Lenskart has been aggressively hiring across verticals, especially the tech and data science team, roping in data scientists, business analysts, data engineers, and experts, a statement said. LG Electronics to expand streaming service LG Channels on smart televisions

  LG Electronics on Tuesday said it will expand its streaming service on smart TVs as the tech giant tries to increase its presence amid the pandemic-driven stay-at-home trend. The South Korean company said LG Channels will be launched in an additional 11 European countries, including Switzerland and the Netherlands, within this year. Samsung lets Indians pre-reserve upcoming Galaxy flagship ahead of launch

  South Korean electronics maker Samsung on Friday announced that its customers in India can now pre-reserve the upcoming Galaxy flagship device by paying a taken amount of Rs 2,000 on Samsung India online store or through Samsung Shop App. According to Samsung, customers making the pre-reservation will get the ‘Next Galaxy VIP Pass’, which entitles customers to get a Smart Tag worth Rs 2,699 for free when they pre-book the device. While the company did not confirm the device details and India launch plans, it stated that customers can pre-book the device later, and the token amount will be adjusted against the device price.   Admitting that it is not easy to detect and remove accounts belonging to people under the age of 13, Facebook has said that it is looking at ways to convince people under age 13 to not lie about their age, including using the artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Afterpay, the pioneering global 'buy now, pay later' (BNPL) platform, will accelerate Square's strategic priorities for its Seller and Cash App ecosystems. Square plans to integrate Afterpay into its existing Seller and Cash App business units, enable even the smallest of merchants to offer BNPL at checkout. The integration will also give Afterpay consumers the ability to manage their installment payments directly in Cash App, and give Cash App customers the ability to discover merchants and BNPL offers directly within the app, the two companies said in a joint statement late on Sunday.
