Microsoft Windows 365 to let users run Windows on smartphones, tablets, PCs

  In a bid to help businesses of all sizes boost productivity in the hybrid work scenario, Microsoft on Wednesday announced a new Cloud service called Windows 365 that will run in Microsoft Cloud and allow customers to set up a Cloud PC with ease. Microsoft Windows 365 is not a new operating system but a new way to experience either Windows 10 or Windows 11 in a virtual environment, that streams the full Windows experience to any device. Essentially, Windows 365 allows customers to fuse together the best of the cloud and the device itself. Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella said that with Windows 365, the company is creating a new category: the Cloud PC. Windows 11 to require laptops to have high-quality webcams: Report

  As part of the rush of news surrounding its new operating system, Microsoft has declared that starting January 1, 2023, all new laptops running on Windows 11 will need to have a front-facing camera. According to Android Authority, this likely has to do with Windows Hello, which is Microsoft 's facial recognition system that allows you to use your face as biometric security. Windows 11 puts a heavy emphasis on the importance of security. For those concerned with privacy, this means a trip to the office supply store to grab more tape with which to cover up the pesky little lenses, Windows Central reported. And for those who've fully immersed themselves in the world of remote work, this means an end to the days of fearing a laptop will have a bad camera, or worse, no camera, the report said. Click Here

Microsoft announces Windows 11 operating system after weeks of hype

  After weeks of leaks and hype, tech giant Microsoft has officially announced the next version of its desktop operating system (OS) -- Windows 11 . The new OS will be a free upgrade for Windows 10 users and will start rolling out "this holiday". "We have simplified the design and user experience to empower your productivity and inspire your creativity. It's modern, fresh, clean and beautiful," Panos Panay, Chief Product Officer, Windows + Devices, said in a statement. "From the new Start button and taskbar to each sound, font and icon, everything was done intentionally to put you in control and bring a sense of calm and ease," Panay added. New in Windows 11, the company is introducing Snap Layouts, Snap Groups and Desktops to provide an even more powerful way to multitask and stay on top. Read More
