  As the devotees across the country celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr , marking the culmination of the holy month of Ramzan, President Ram Nath Kovind and a number of political leaders extended wishes on the occasion. Taking to Twitter, Rashtrapati Bhavan, on behalf of President Ram Nath Kovind, wished all " Eid Mubarak " and requested Indians to pledge to serve humanity.   From 'Lift Kara De', 'Kabhi Toh Nazar Mila' to 'Bhar Do Jholi Meri', singer Adnan Sami has undoubtedly entertained music lovers with his versatile songs in a career spanning over 25 years, and now getting honoured with the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award, must be one of the biggest milestones of his life. On Monday, President Ram Nath Kovind conferred Adnan with the Padma Shri in a ceremony held in Delhi. He received the award in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.   After receiving Dadasaheb Phalke Award , India's highest film honour, from Vice President Venkaiah Naidu a few days ago, superstar Rajinikanth paid a visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind. On Wednesday, Rajinikanth took to Twitter and shared a few pictures from their meeting.  He also shared that it was a great pleasure to meet the PM and President. "It is a great pleasure to meet and greet the esteemed President and the Prime Minister," he tweeted. Rajinikanth was accompanied by his wife Latha. The meeting comes after Rajinikanth was conferred with the 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award on Monday at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. He received the award for his remarkable contribution to Indian cinema.
