Samsung announces Galaxy self-repair programme in partnership with iFixit

  Samsung has announced that it is partnering with iFixIt , the premier online destination for tech repair to fix Galaxy devices without paying a professional to do it. The Galaxy S20 and S21 smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Tab S7+, will be the first devices to get this support when the programme rolls out this summer. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 with 10.5-inch fullHD screen launched: Price, specs

  South Korean electronics maker Samsung on Thursday launched in India the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 . The tablet will be available in Wi-Fi and LTE variants, both in gray, silver and pink gold colours, from January 17. The Wi-Fi variant will be available in 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB configurations, priced at Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively. The LTE variant will be available in similar RAM and on-board storage configurations priced at Rs 21,999 and Rs 23,999, respectively. As part of its introductory offer, the Galaxy Tab A8 gets Rs 2,000 cashback on ICICI Bank Debit and Credit cards. Samsung Galaxy A52s review: Upgrade brings 5G, performance boost, and more

  Samsung has been upgrading its budget and midrange smartphones to make them ready for the upcoming 5G network. Fresh in the South Korean electronics maker’s 5G smartphone portfolio, the Galaxy A52s is based on the Galaxy A52. The upgraded model is powered by a newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G system-on-chip, which brings with it 5G network support and a boost in performance over the predecessor’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. Samsung emerges as India's no. 1 smartwatch brand, says IDC

  Samsung emerged as India's biggest smartwatch manufacturer in the second quarter ending June 2021, a new report said on Thursday. According to International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker, Samsung's smartwatch shipments registered 860 per cent year-on-year growth, catapulting the company to number one position in India. Samsung Smartwatch Riding on the popularity of Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Watch 3 Series, Samsung ended the June quarter with 41.2 per cent volume market share. Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series, Buds 2 pre-bookings likely to start this week

  Samsung is tipped to announce pre-bookings for its newly-launched Galaxy Watch4 , Galaxy Watch4 Classic and Galaxy Buds2 in India this week, industry sources told IANS on Tuesday. The Galaxy Watch4 is likely to start retailing between Rs 28,000 and Rs 30,000, while the Classic variant could end up above Rs 40,000 in India. The Galaxy Buds2 , which comes with enhanced ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), is likely to start under Rs 15,000, the sources added. Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic are the first smartwatches to feature the new Wear OS which is built jointly with Google. Samsung Galaxy M32 5G likely to be priced under Rs 25,000 in India

  Samsungs latest mid-ranger -- Galaxy M32 5G -- will come in two variants and will be priced between Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000, industry sources said on Monday. The smartphone will launch on August 25 and is likely to go on sale from September 2 in the country, sources told IANS. Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE Wi-Fi variant to launch soon in India

  South Korean tech giant Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S7 FE in India in June, but it only launched the LTE variant of the tablet in the country. Now the company will launch the Wi-Fi version in India soon. As per GSM Arena, this revelation comes from Amazon India, which set up a promo page for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE's Wi-Fi model on its website. The online retailer didn't reveal the tablet's price or sale date and only said that it's "coming soon." The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE is powered by the Snapdragon 750G SoC and runs Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box. Samsung ropes in Alia Bhatt to endorse Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, Flip3 5G in India

  Samsung on Wednesday said it has signed Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt as the face for its newly announced Galaxy Z series of foldable smartphones for India. Samsung will bring its ultra-premium Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G smartphones in India from September 10, with prices starting at Rs 84,999. Pre-bookings for the devices will open on August 24.   Tech giant Samsung on Wednesday unveiled two premium smartphones - Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G , pricing them lower than the last year's lineup as it looks to provide more consumers access to the "unique foldable experience". The company, which competes with brands like Apple in the global market, has also launched new smartwatches and earbuds at its 'Galaxy Unpacked' event. Samsung lets Indians pre-reserve upcoming Galaxy flagship ahead of launch

  South Korean electronics maker Samsung on Friday announced that its customers in India can now pre-reserve the upcoming Galaxy flagship device by paying a taken amount of Rs 2,000 on Samsung India online store or through Samsung Shop App. According to Samsung, customers making the pre-reservation will get the ‘Next Galaxy VIP Pass’, which entitles customers to get a Smart Tag worth Rs 2,699 for free when they pre-book the device. While the company did not confirm the device details and India launch plans, it stated that customers can pre-book the device later, and the token amount will be adjusted against the device price. On August 11, Samsung is hosting its Galaxy Unpacked event where the company is expected to unveil the successor of its Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Flip foldable devices. Samsung to launch new foldable phones with lower price tags

  Samsung Electronics is expected to unveil its latest Samsung foldable smartphones next month with lower price tags compared with its predecessors, industry sources said on Saturday. The South Korean tech giant is expected to start sales of the Galaxy Z Fold3 at around 1.99 million won ($1,744), which is 17 percent lower than the 2.39 million won set for the previous model, according to the sources. The price of the Galaxy Z Flip3 is also expected to be around 22 percent lower than the predecessor at 1.28 million won, reports Yonhap news agency. The latest strategy apparently comes in line with Samsung's effort to boost sales of its foldable smartphones and gain advantages in terms of the price as its archrival Apple Inc. is also set to unveil new models later this year.   South Korean tech giant is all set to launch its upcoming smartphone --Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 -- on August 11, media report says. The new report claims that at the next Samsung Unpacked event the company will unveil the new smartphones along with a watch. The event will start at 10 a.m. ET and will be streamed on YouTube. Galaxy F12 comes in two memory variants -- 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB -- priced at Rs 10,999 and INR 11,999, respectively.
