Vivo launches X70 series in India: Check features, price, availability

  Vivo today launched its X70 series in India featuring ZEISS T coating and Ultra-Sensing Gimbal Camera. The X70 lineup consists of two smartphones -- X70 Pro and X70 Pro+. The Vivo X70 series will go on sale starting October 7, though pre-bookings will open from today. The X70 series is co-engineered with ZEISS for imaging, and on top of that the line-up has certified compliance to ZEISS T* Coating, which guarantees imaging brilliance by enhancing light transmissions and reducing unnoteworthy image artifacts, the company said. Vivo X70 Pro+ likely to be unveiled with 50MP camera: Report

  Global smartphone brand Vivo is likely to launch its upcoming smartphone -- Vivo X70 Pro + -- with 50MP primary camera and Snapdragon 888+ chipset on September 9. According to GSMArena, the shooters, developed alongside Zeiss, will include a 50MP 1/1.31" main snapper and a periscope lens. The main camera will have a Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor. The ultra-wide-angle snapper will come with Sony IMX598 48MP sensor behind, while the third cam will be a dedicated shooter for portraits. Its sensor will be 12MP Sony IMX663 and will offer 2x magnification. The periscope cam will have an 8MP sensor and will support 5x zoom. Three of the four shooters will also support OIS for video stabilization, with only the ultra-wide-angle shooter missing it, the report said. Read More

  Global smartphone brand Vivo on Friday launched a new phone, Vivo Y21 , that is now available across online and offline channels at Rs 15,490. The smartphone comes with 4GB+128GB storage (expandable upto 1TB). It also offers Extended RAM 2.0, which makes use of up to 1GB idle ROM space. The 4GB+64GB variant will also be available soon. "Y21 with its trendy design and latest features will compliment our Y series portfolio. With the launch of Y21, it becomes the slimmest 5000mAh smartphone in the segment," Nipun Marya, Director- Brand Strategy, Vivo India , said in a statement.   Smartphone brand Vivo on Monday announced the launch of Vivo Y53s with 64MP rear camera and a 5,000mAh battery for Rs 19,490 in India. Available in two colours -- Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow -- the device can be purchased across online platforms and partner retail stores from August 9. The 8GB+128GB storage (expandable upto 1TB) device offers 3GB extended RAM where users can download their favourite apps and run them all seamlessly. Vivo ropes in Virat Kohli as brand ambassador ahead of IPL 2021

  Chinese smartphone major Vivo on Wednesday said it has appointed cricketer Virat Kohli as its brand ambassador. With the association, Vivo aims to reach the millennials and technologically driven consumers, and a 360-degree marketing approach will characterise the company's association with Kohli, a statement said. Vivo IPL 2021 Kohli will be seen spreading awareness and promoting the launch of Vivo's upcoming product series in the pipeline, it added.
