Apple iOS 15.4, iPadOS 15.4 with mask unlock, new emoji released

  Apple has started rolling out iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 for compatible models. This new update includes several minor changes, along with a major update to Face ID. The iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 updates can be downloaded for free. To access the new software, go to Settings > General > Software Update. iOS 15.4 adds an option to use Face ID while wearing a mask. iPadOS 15.4 introduces Universal Control, allowing multiple Macs and iPads to be controlled with the same mouse/trackpad and keyboard. Universal Control requires all participating iPad and Mac devices to be running iPadOS 15.4 and macOS Monterey 12.3 or later, respectively. Read More

Apple Music free trial slashed down from three to one month

  American tech giant Apple's three-month free trial for new users has been reduced down to one month in some countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and the UK among others. Apple Music free trial As per GSM Arena, this move does not affect the limited six-month trial program awarded for a limited time with the purchase of some Apple devices, like AirPods, HomePod mini and some Beats products. Monthly subscription rates are also seemingly unaffected as of yet. An individual Apple Music plan still costs USD 9.99 (USD 4.99 for college students), and a five-person family plan is USD 14.99. There is also the newer Apple Music Voice Plan, which gives you limited access to some of the music catalog through voice and Siri, without spatial or lossless audio for USD 4.99 a month. Apple to develop its electric car alone to avoid further delays

  Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is reportedly developing its electric vehicle alone without the assistance of another automaker. According to Maeil Economic Daily (via MacRumors), the iPhone maker is currently selecting final parts suppliers Earlier, the tech giant contacted BMW, Hyundai, Nissan, and Toyota to explore joint development and contract production agreements. Apple has now gone through the process of sending a Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) to global automobile part manufacturers. Apple plans thinner Macbook Air with magnetic charger in Mac lineup reboot

Apple Inc. is working on a thinner and lighter version of the MacBook Air , the company’s mass-market laptop, according to people with knowledge of the matter. The new computer is planned to be released during the second half of this year at the earliest or in 2022. It will include Apple ’s MagSafe charging technology and a next-generation version of the company’s in-house Mac processors. Apple has discussed making the laptop smaller by shrinking the border around the screen, which will remain 13-inches.
