  Veteran screenwriter-actor Shiv Subrahmanyam , known for penning critically-acclaimed films "Parinda", "1942: A Love Story", and "Chameli", has died, filmmaker Hansal Mehta confirmed on Monday. Mehta took to Twitter and posted a note about Subrahmanyam's demise, writing that it was a "terrible news to wake up to". "With profound and heartfelt grief, we wish to inform you of the passing of one of the most dignified and noble souls to inhabit human form - our dearest Shiv Subrahmanyam.   Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor is in the early stage of dementia, his nephew actor Ranbir Kapoor has revealed. According to Ranbir, the 75-year-old actor recently saw " Sharmaji Namkeen ", which marks the last screen appearance of his younger brother, actor Rishi Kapoor. Rishi passed away at the age of 67 in April 2020 after a two-year long battle with leukemia. In an interview with NDTV, Ranbir said when Randhir saw the film, his instant reaction was to call Rishi.   Comedian Chris Rock has finally broken his silence on Will Smith slapping him at the 94th Academy Awards ceremony. During a stand-up show in Boston on Wednesday, Rock walked out to two boisterous standing ovations that lasted roughly two minutes, The Hollywood Reporter said. Rock, 57 opened his comedy with, "How was your weekend?" which was greeted with laughter, the outlet informed.   Jane Campion's gothic western The Power of the Dog led nominations to the 94th Academy Awards, where streaming services more than ever before swept over Hollywood's top honors. In nominations announced Tuesday, Campion's film landed a leading 12 nominations, including nods for best picture, best director and all of its top actors: Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons and Kodi Smit-McPhee. Campion, a nominee for 1993's The Piano, became the first woman to ever be nominated twice for best director. Last year, Chlo Zhao became just the second woman to ever win the award. Campion's director of photography, Ari Wegner, also became the second woman ever nominated for best cinematography. The only previous woman to do so was Rachel Morrison for Mudbound in 2018.   Streaming service Prime Video has collaborated with hayu, NBCUniversal's ad-free OTT platform, to bring popular reality TV shows such as "The Real Housewives", "Below Deck" and "Top Chef" to the Indian audiences. hayu will be available on Amazon's streaming service as an add-on subscription, the company said in a statement on Thursday.  hayu brings to Prime Video an extensive library of international reality shows which also includes "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and its spin-offs along with many others, including "Million Dollar Listing", "Vanderpump Rules", "Summer House", "The Real Murders Of Orange County", "License To Kill" and "Family Karma".   Fans of superstar Prabhas will have to wait a little longer to witness the much-anticipated story of 'love and destiny' as the makers of ' Radhe Shyam ' have postponed the release of the movie due to a surge in COVID-19 cases. Taking to their Twitter handle, the makers released an official statement noting, "We have been trying our best for the past few days but considering the growing cases of omicron variant it looks like we will have to wait for our labour of love to get to the big screens."  " Radhe Shyam Postponed is a story about love vs destiny and we are sure that your love will help us rise over these tough times together. Will see you in the cinemas soon!!" the statement concluded.
