Apple HomePod mini gets India's Gaana and JioSaavn music streaming services

 

Apple on Wednesday announced that the American technology giant has integrated India’s Gaana and JioSaavn music streaming services to its Apple HomePod mini smart speaker. Powered by Siri, the HomePod mini can now take voice command to stream content from these music services, besides Apple Music. However, the newly integrated music services need to be added to the HomePod mini. Here is how to do it:

How to set-up Gaana and JioSaavn on the HomePod


Step 1: On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, open the app for your streaming service and go to the app settings. A subscription might be required for some streaming services.

Step 2: Tap the option to Connect with HomePod. 

Step 3: Follow the onscreen instructions to set-up music streaming services on the HomePod.

Facebook parent Meta's social VR platform Horizon hits 300,000 users

  Meta's social virtual reality (VR) platform Horizon has reached 300,000 monthly users, a growth of 10 times since its roll-out in early December. According to a report in The Verge, Meta spokesperson Joe Osborne confirmed this, saying it included users of Horizon Worlds and Horizon Venues which is a separate app for attending live events in VR. Horizon Worlds was rolled out to Oculus Quest VR headset users in the US and Canada in early December. "It's time. 10,000 worlds have already been created. Drop in and play, build or just hang out.
