Xiaomi launches RedmiBook Pro, RedmiBook e-learning edition laptop in India

 

Chinese electronics maker Xiaomi on Tuesday launched in India the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-learning edition laptops. Powered by 11th Gen Intel Core processors, the laptops come with solid state drive (SSD) storage, DDR4 RAM, and fullHD+ resolution screen. The RedmiBook Pro is priced at Rs 49,999 and the e-learning edition starts at Rs 41,999. Both the laptops go on sale from August 6 on Mi online store, Mi Home, and Flipkart. 

As for the specifications, the RedmiBook Pro is powered by 11th Gen Intel Core i5-11300H processor with integrated Intel Xe graphics. The laptop comes with 8GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and 512GB NVMe storage. Made of polycarbonate, the RedmiBook Pro weighs 1.8kg and boasts a 19.9mm thickness. The laptop sports a 15.6-inch fullHD resolution display with an anti-glare coating on top. Made of polycarbonate, the RedmiBook Pro comes in charcoal grey colour with brushed metallic finish. Facebook parent Meta's social VR platform Horizon hits 300,000 users

  Meta's social virtual reality (VR) platform Horizon has reached 300,000 monthly users, a growth of 10 times since its roll-out in early December. According to a report in The Verge, Meta spokesperson Joe Osborne confirmed this, saying it included users of Horizon Worlds and Horizon Venues which is a separate app for attending live events in VR. Horizon Worlds was rolled out to Oculus Quest VR headset users in the US and Canada in early December. "It's time. 10,000 worlds have already been created. Drop in and play, build or just hang out.
