Lion Club's Annual Event 2022 Concluded with Grand Success in Laxmi Vidyapeeth, Sarigam

Surat (Gujarat) [India], May 16 (ANI/NewsVoir): On May 15 2022, Lion Clubs annual event 2022, Gyan Manthan (District Schooling) took place at the serene environment of Laxmi Vidyapeeth, Sarigam. The event, focusing on the message "To strive hard to achieve the best", was a grand success that was witnessed by more than 500 dedicated Lions.

Lion's District Governor, Nisheeth Kinariwala inaugurated the event which started at 9:40 AM with the national anthem. The esteemed guest was ID Endorsee MD 3231, Pankaj Mehta. The special guests included MCC MD 3232, JP Trivedi. The guests of honor were the 1st Vice District Governor Deepak Pakhale and the 2nd Vice Dist. Governor Paresh Patel.

Facebook parent Meta's social VR platform Horizon hits 300,000 users

  Meta's social virtual reality (VR) platform Horizon has reached 300,000 monthly users, a growth of 10 times since its roll-out in early December. According to a report in The Verge, Meta spokesperson Joe Osborne confirmed this, saying it included users of Horizon Worlds and Horizon Venues which is a separate app for attending live events in VR. Horizon Worlds was rolled out to Oculus Quest VR headset users in the US and Canada in early December. "It's time. 10,000 worlds have already been created. Drop in and play, build or just hang out.
